[00:00:59] Speaker B: Man, it was pretty good. Pretty normal. You know, as you get to the holiday kind of season, everything kind of starts slowing down and. Which is always kind of nice to get reflective, but I know you had a pretty big week, so, you know, kind of tell us how that went.
[00:01:14] Speaker A: I was thinking about your everything slowing down, and I was thinking about traffic as we talk in the mornings, and, you know, it takes longer to.
But no, man, big week closed out a chapter of working, you know, within the government and transitioning to a new. A new federal employment. Right.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:34] Speaker A: And I had a buddy ask me, he goes, man, that's. That's a big deal, you know, 13 years working.
And he says, that's been such a part of your identity, you know?
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:01:46] Speaker A: And I said, nope, nope. My identity is squarely implanted inside of Christ as an ambassador for him. I'm just TDY to a new location.
[00:01:55] Speaker B: I like that. I like it.
[00:01:57] Speaker A: Well, it is, right? Like, changes in life are less dramatic.
[00:02:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:02] Speaker A: And we're trying to get the house put back together.
We'll see how. We'll see how the Griswolds do it here. We'll see.
[00:02:10] Speaker B: As long as cousin Eddie doesn't show up, you'll be all right.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: Not kidding. So super excited about today's conversation.
[00:02:18] Speaker B: Yeah, man. You want to kind of tee it up on what we're gonna. We're gonna tell the folks here or get into.
[00:02:24] Speaker A: So here's. Here's some folks. Folks out there talking or listening. Colby and I talked about this quite a bit, and this is what I love about iron. Sharpening iron. We talked about this. We're gonna talk today about. We got questions. Going to talk about UFOs. That's right. Don't. Don't need to rewind it. UFO. We talked about it. And we talked about it. Length. So iron, sharpening iron. I said, you know, Colby, what about this? What about that? And what I love about our friendship is I encourage other guys that you have to have a grounding within the Bible.
You know, we were discussing everything from physics on the way into work, short discussions, just physics isn't very complicated, but still, all of it, different theories. What about this or what about that?
So pretty excited to sit down and talk about this.
[00:03:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I agree with you, Jason. It is something that has dominated the world's attention probably since 2020, to be quite honest. And I'm going to reference that here in a few moments as we kind of dive into our initial conversations. But as we looked at this conversation, and the thing for the Jonathan Project, right, is lots of men, lots of women having these conversations that we're around. And if we're ambassadors for Christ, which we've used that term so often here at the Jonathan Project, then we need to be informed on what the Bible has to say, if it has anything to say about UFOs, alien life, life beyond this planet. And we need to present that worldview because that's what ambassadors do. They always present their representative country, in our case, our kingdom perspective, to the outliers, the indigenous people. And if we're not doing that, if we're not educated, we're not grounded, then as the Bible says, and I'm going to get into the scriptures, you can be deluded, and you have to be careful and understand the season and the age that we're in, and what is the adversary's objective, plain and simple. It comes to steal, kill and destroy. That is, his three pillars of his kingdom are built on. And there are a lot of people right now, Jason, that are operating out of fear. There are a lot of people that are operating from a deceptive kind of mindset. And both of those things do not come from the. The kingdom of God, because he wants us to have peace. So I'm super excited about this episode. It's going to go a little bit longer, I have a feeling. But I ask everyone to stick with us to the end because we're going to tie it all together on really what this means as a believer and how you can engage the world, ground you and ground them in the truth that surrounded Jesus Christ in the Bible.
[00:05:06] Speaker A: No, I agree with you. You know, doing some research, it's amazing how much the UFO especially, you know, in the last couple of years.
[00:05:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:05:16] Speaker A: And it's. It seems like. Well, I mean, it's jumped right. In, in 1990s, 20 of people believed in UFOs and in 2021 they did another study and it's like 40% and 10 people say they've seen one.
There is a. Actually the government set this thing up. It's called the Pentagon's all Domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
The aaro. That's a mouthful. You wouldn't want to fill that out on a tax form. But they get like 50 to 100 UFO sightings per month. They're also called Unidentified aerial phenomena.
[00:05:54] Speaker B: Yeah. UAPs.
[00:05:55] Speaker A: UAPs. However I thought their, their own website, their own document that they had to turn in with. Pretty, pretty interesting. It said most UFOs are ordinary objects from Earth and there's no evidence the US government has encountered alien life.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: Of course. Right. And I love it. And that just that right there is always the spin up because you got the interviews of Bob Lazar and a couple of these well known names that. Oh, I worked at the base that's north of Nellis out there, Area 51. And, and it's all these things that I saw and the deathbed confessions of Boeing engineers. They go back to the 50s. It worked at Roswell. And people buy and subscribe, lock stock and barrel into that.
[00:06:37] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:38] Speaker B: But I always like to say, Jason, you know, you should define the problem. You know, and that just goes from, you know, military experiences and, and, and working in the intelligence arena for quite a while that if you don't know what the problem is, then you're willing to subscribe to everything that comes along that fits what you believe is the solution. And humanity, when it comes to UFOs, UAPs, whatever the flavor of the day, we want to label them. We, we are the authors and creators of the story. The answer and the test.
[00:07:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:07:11] Speaker B: And we don't even realize that like, and, and I know you understand this better than probably I can even describe it as, you know, as a doctor of psychology is that oh, big time humans delude themselves. Right. And it's. So we naturally like to look for patterns and things and then present a solution.
[00:07:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:07:30] Speaker B: And we don't look at the holistic picture of really what is going on. So you mean to tell me, and I have to start it out this way because you, you heard me in our own conversations and I'm. It is hard for me to swallow just quite, quite frankly the whole thing with aliens because I'll just say it, if, if these are the aliens that are visiting this one, I'm not worried because these are the dumbest Alie in all of the universe. I mean, just point blank, I saw a video this week of some lady in New Jersey that took a picture outside of Monmouth, which has some, you know, reference for me back in the day, but Monmouth, New Jersey, where there was unidentified anomalous phenomena in a tree. They got stuck. And she's like, oh, I've never seen anything like that. We've never seen a drone like this. We've never seen technology like this. So I'm like, let's get again, let's get this straight. And I want to say this. I want to take the time to spell this out, because it is the dumbest thing in the world to believe something can travel across the vastness of space, survive the harshness of that environment, comes to Earth out of all the billions of planets that are out there, and gets stuck in a tree in New Jersey and can't get itself out.
[00:08:41] Speaker A: I've not even been stuck in a tree.
[00:08:44] Speaker B: You believe this is alien. This is it. I feel like Bruce Willis sometimes. I'm in this movie in Armageddon, I'm like, this is it. These Boy Scouts. Is this the hope? This is it. NASA. This is what we got.
[00:08:54] Speaker A: You could traverse all the space and you're stuck.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: And you're stuck in an oak tree. Wow. Okay.
[00:08:59] Speaker A: Well, in New Jersey, where trees are not that common.
[00:09:02] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh, man. And people believe this stuff.
Sorry.
[00:09:09] Speaker A: Right? Like, people want to. And you create this. You create this. It's just like, well, I see a ufo, something I can't identify. I see something that's out there. And even one of the more concrete findings, Findings of this, you know, this aaro. It's not aarp, it's aaro. Super. That'd be pretty close. But not.
They go, nope, it was just deflated balloon.
[00:09:36] Speaker B: Oh, man.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: And yeah, I mean, that could be stuck in the tree.
[00:09:42] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean. But the government, going back to the Defining the problem, Right? So the government in 2020, as you well know, and in particular the world that both of us used to work in. As of this week, US Intelligence, the US Intelligence community, the odni, Office of Director of National Intelligence, for all of you out there, released their preliminary assessment on uap. That is where the term UAP comes from, in case you're wondering. The government.
And because they didn't want the stigma of being associated with UFOs. And what they said basically was, is there's nothing that can confirm that there are aliens visiting the us Visiting the world.
[00:10:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:10:21] Speaker B: Now, every conspiracy theory said, no, just the fact that the government released that it proves that there is alien technology that somehow we're not benefiting from. And again, I could go on, but.
[00:10:33] Speaker A: Yeah, you know, I think that that is where we. We jump to the conclusion.
I see something out there, I don't know what it is. Next thing you know, I'm ascribing it to being a advanced technology.
Right. But nothing says that it is. You're just like, oh, it must be this. Science fiction movies have been great over the years. You know, I mean, Star trek in the 60s, then there was Star wars and a whole bunch of films that didn't do so well, but it was a popular genre. Right. And I think people just. They just jump to conclusions. Right.
Yeah. So go ahead, Colby.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: No, I mean. But let's look at it. One of the leading arguments again, and continue to try to put a bound on the problem is there's an assumption, because of numbers, that it equals probability and possibility.
Assuming that there's these vast number of stars, there's over trillions of stars, just, you know, planets, I should say, in the known universe.
And the leading argument from folks that subscribe to the thought that there is alien life is that it has to be something out there just like us. There has to be, because I'm looking back in time and there's so much distance, and that just means they have to be advanced and they have to be ahead of us. And what we find, if you just look at, again, the evidence that we do have, the Earth is so finely tuned. Jason.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:12:04] Speaker B: That if it was tilted just a few degrees off, life wouldn't be sustained. If our distance was a few, in space terminology, probably a couple hundred thousand miles different, we wouldn't have life. If we didn't have a moon, we wouldn't have life. And it goes on and on and on of how unique this little planet is.
[00:12:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:28] Speaker B: But we somehow subscribe in the collective culture. Oh, there's just these vast numbers. It just has to be.
[00:12:36] Speaker A: Well, so I love where you're at. So life on other planets. Right. Like, oh, it's out there because it's so infinite. It just.
And a lot of people ask that. And believe it or not, 49 of people believe there's some.
[00:12:50] Speaker B: Some.
[00:12:50] Speaker A: There are people somewhat like ourselves living on other planets. And 75 believe there is life of some form exists somewhere in the universe. So I pulled that thread in my research. Life. And so life. Okay, it's a. I define that. I said, okay, like you. Hey, let's define the problem. What do you mean by life? It's a condition that separates animals and plants from inorganic material. So that means life is organic, right? It has to have that organic component, which is a carbon base. And another definition was existence of a human or animal. That's our definition. So we're applying definitions to things we don't. It's out there. Christianity states it is two states of a person's existence separated by death. We have life before death and life after death. But what's common is it has a birth and a death. Now, I listened to Michael Strauss and Michael Strauss when I started grad school. They sent this to us and they go like, hey, check this out. And sometimes you're going to find where science and the Bible contradict and what we were told. And I'll always give a shout out to Dr. Beary on this one. It was a phenomenal statement. At liberty, she goes, when you find those contradictions, stick with scripture. Science has a way of working itself back around. And she's right.
So this astrophysicist, he had three things just. And you've hit a bunch of them. The imp that says that I did. When he talks about this, why it is that Earth is, or why life is unique here. And you got to keep this in mind. And I'm going to, you know, as we kind of talk, he says, if the universe has a design, then it's got a purpose, okay? And that purpose seems to center on us, which is very clearly laid out in the Bible. He has three components. The universe is expanding, right? Just like raisin bread, it expands. We know this because of cosmic radiation. And it's a measuring of the temperature. And we can see that it's cooling off. Just like you see if you heat up your oven. And as that temperature begins to go down at a certain rate, we know you can just kind of do that.
Even Stephen Hawkins said that he had found that time and space had a beginning. Let's back that up. Time and space had a beginning. Einstein had it discovered early in one of his things, but took that out. But in 2003, all physicists agreed it is expanding. And because it must have had a beginning. And they also agreed, and this is physicists, that whatever started it had to be outside of the universe. Now, Aristotle called it the unmoved mobile. That's one point. Design is just what you hit on. We live in such a finely tuned universe, and they've gone through all this, like the nuclear force, which is in the nucleus. It's how the periodic table exists.
This is great. Just to your point, less than 2%. If you degraded that force by 2%, there'd be no hydrogen. And if you got up this morning and took a drink of water, that wouldn't exist. You know. But if it was greater than 5, you only have hydrogen.
Another concept, and I got to bring this one up, I'm sorry, I don't. Is that the amount of matter is fixed, you know, which goes back to. Matter can't be created nor destroyed.
Despite the growing problem of obesity in this plant, in this country. The amount of matter is. Okay, all right, Colby. Too much matter. And he only got to have one in the 10. It's one one out of 10 to the 60th change in this. If it was too little matter when it began to expand, guess what?
Nothing would have formed. If it was too much matter, it would have collapsed back on itself. It would have went out and come back together. All these coincidences, these astrophysicists have come to realize that religion didn't hijack physics, right? Let's be very candid.
Physics owns these things. Like, that's the study. It began with physics and ended with physics. Things I've told. But the last is that rare Earth, and we've talked about this, people go, well, there's like, Earth, like planets, three components, roughly the same size, might have water and might be rock, right? But to what you said about the galactic habitable zone, it's. You're too far close to the sun. You get too much radiation, too far out in. And you don't. Right? You just freeze. Also, we have tectonic activity which makes our oceans exist.
So what are the odds of this happening when you look at those physical laws you have. All right, I need you to. I wish I could just, you know, for the people listening, I'll draw this out.
How about that? One over 10 to the 304th power.
[00:18:09] Speaker B: That's a lot of zeros.
[00:18:10] Speaker A: That's a lot of zeros. It's just not going to happen. So. And that goes back to that statement, the universe has a design. All those finely tuned knobs right here, all this other stuff. It. It's got a design. It's got a design, it's got a purpose. And that purpose centers around us. And it's laid out in the Bible through Jesus Christ. You know, I love it.
[00:18:36] Speaker B: No, I mean, you highlight a good point, and I want to stay on that for a second before we. Before I move on to, you know, another topic within, as far as defining this problem, is, is that The Bible says when we look out into space, there's two. The second, heaven. There's two purposes there. One is nature calls out, and if eternity is in our heart, which the Bible says, when you look out into the vastness and the complexity and just the sheer power, and it. It is something that tells you that it has to be, like you said, the unmovable mover, or as the Bible says, it's the God of all creation. There's something outside of what I'm seeing there that is able to create these forces. And people say, well, there's. There's. You know, like, one of the things I researched this week is that they found through the James Webb telescope, the most powerful telescope that we put up into space. They've looked back through space and time, and what they see is there are galaxies so far away, and they're more massive than the Milky Way, which means in time, they should not be there. The way that the world has defined the way the universe was created. Well, what I would say and what I would tell people is to look at is when you look at nature, and again, look at the best example of evidence that we have to understand the world around us and to understand this phenomenon of aliens. There's lots of this stuff called diversity on Earth. The Lord is one of his attributes is he is creative. You look at humanity, there's black, white, you know, Hispanic, Asian. There's diversity. The Lord loves creativity. He loves diversity. When I look into space, what do I see? I see that replicated yet again. You have planets out there that some are raining diamonds. There's planets out there that are super hot. There's planets out there made of water. There's all this diversity.
[00:20:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:25] Speaker B: But when you come down to where the only thing that we have, the guidelines for design, for outlining this world, is called the Bible. And it stops and ends with humanity and what we're given. Of all the things that are created, life has to be created. It doesn't just pop up.
[00:20:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:44] Speaker B: You know, the Lord doesn't do magic. Right. The natural world reinforce that. Like, you can't go blow up something, have a big bang, if you would. And then I blow up my iPhone, and then I wait a little bit of time and it puts itself back together. That doesn't happen anywhere. And so therefore, the uniqueness that's in you, the wonder, the purpose, everything that you see is reaffirming that. And it should tell you that this design is special. And then it should lead you to a couple conclusions which we're Going to get to towards the end of the show. But, yeah, I'm always baffled and amazed of how we can't see that. That just because there's a lot of weirdness in space, as I call it, it's just replicated here on Earth. There's a lot of diversity here on Earth and it all cries out. The second point, which I didn't hit on, but let me, let me wrap it up because I'm loving this topic, is when you look into space, the Bible tells us in Genesis that the stars are made for defining seasons, years and days.
Right. And that has been something since time, immortal. We can look out and we can see these galaxies and planets and the constellations and we put bounds and like, oh, it's time to plant the corn or harvest the corn or whatever the case may be. There's a practicality to it.
[00:22:00] Speaker A: I mean, my chickens get up when the sun comes up. You know, I agree with you. It's so finely tuned. And you look at the diversity that is. Right. When people talk about evolution or things like that, that's probably another topic. Simply look outside and I see that there's two sets of trees, two different kinds of trees, you know, a deciduous tree and a coniferous tree.
[00:22:30] Speaker B: All the big worries.
[00:22:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Or they're growing side by side. Right.
Like in things like that. Also, I've heard people go, well, the Earth is a million years old. Well, I love this, I love this map because at the end of the day, the sun, Right. If the sun is shrinking because it's burning off fuel, if you backwards that calculation out and you go, okay, how big was the sun a million years ago? Well, it would have consumed Earth.
[00:23:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Again, my gosh. Yeah. A perfect point. That is a great point. Yeah, this, this math. But yeah, it only fits people's theories when they wanted to.
[00:23:12] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We cherry pick. We cherry pick the information we want.
So I guess for listeners and you know, something like, we, we talked all this week about going down different rabbit holes and. But that's where iron sharpens iron and it's a heavy metal. Right. Like iron. And we anchored our discussions in this, in the Bible. Right. Like, what does the Bible say?
You know, Colby, I looked and we could go on about physics and, and so forth. Well, going for a limited time, I'm not a physicist. I only know one person with a bachelor physics, no one else. So it was a class that made me decide, nope, I think I'm going to go study something different.
But you know, the Bible, it talks about, like in Ezekiel, right. 1:15 wheel within a wheel, seats of angels. And he describes a lot of angels. Right? He describes angels that no matter how powerful my imagination is, I don't know how those would look. Right.
[00:24:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:24] Speaker A: The Bible speaks of angels. It speaks of, you know, like you said, the heavens declare the glory of God.
Which heavens is that in? Psalms 19:1. That'd be something to look up strong, you know, And I looked at it and I'm like, are there good angels? Yes. Well, there's also bad angels. We just call them things.
[00:24:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: Be real clear, those bad angels work for Satan. That's their boss. So their boss has a strategic goal, and his strategic goal is laid out in John is to kill, steal, and destroy. Ephesians 2 describes him as prince of the air. And you're going to talk on that one. I love that research. I don't want to steal your thunder a lot. And second, Thessalonians talks about him as he's a deceiver, and he masquerades as an angel alike, based on their boss. Demons are highly intelligent deceivers. All right? So just because you see something, don't jump to the conclusions map and think, oh, my gosh, there's little green people. It may be something else. It may be just. Who knows? A weather balloon. Could be light, plasma light. Could be tons of other. But I'm with you. Let's anchor back into what does apply.
[00:25:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:39] Speaker A: I don't have imaginations of how to run, you know, Elon Musk's checkbook, because it ain't part of my life. You know, I don't even know if man's got a checkbook, but I do know what does it look like?
[00:25:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:53] Speaker A: And that's. Jesus Christ. Let's stick to the basic meat and potato.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I hear you, brother. And so, you know, the other thing that I think about from a practical standpoint is I'm trying to. Again, as much as Lee Strobel made the case for Christ, I'm making the case that alien life doesn't exist here today. And the other thing that stood out to me in my research was, is it's the military perspective. And I know a lot of our audience will understand this is. Yeah, let's think about this from a second. If you. If you're. Again, you're still like, well, I don't believe anything these guys have said so far. There's got to be alien life out there. Okay, let's think about it from a research or resource perspective. So there is the fixed constant that light travels in a year, 186,000 miles. Right. That equals to trillions and trillions of miles between us and the nearest whatever. Just the local Starbucks in the galaxy. Right?
[00:26:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:26:47] Speaker B: It takes some time to get there. And so you mean to tell me, and scientists have proved this is not again a Christian saying, this is a scientist that it would take.
And there's this scale called the card off scale, which again is kind of tied into some science fiction stuff, the Star Trek kind of stuff, to give you a frame of reference for the audience. Star Trek was a type 2 civilization, meaning that they had captured the power of the sun, complete power, and was able to fuel hyper drive engines, AKA warp drive engines, where you can bend space and time. I know I'm getting into my nerd phase here, but stay with me.
And we are at about a 0.7 on that scale, not a 1.7.
[00:27:30] Speaker A: I love how we build reality scale based on science fiction. Yeah.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: I'll continue. So we, we believe that even though from a military con perspective, intelligence perspective, there has been no evidence, this is not, again the Christian view, this is scientific world. None in the second heaven, AKA space, that we have seen of any structure, any civilization that could dominate and gather those type of resources. There's one estimate that I saw in a scientific journal and this week that it would take multiple plans of resources to be able to build a structure where you can harness a complete star's power. So I say all of that to say what I don't understand then how we're led to believe that if civilization could create that much and they had to take that much to create a spaceship, to travel the vastness of space, to come to Earth. Yeah, that they wouldn't want to return on investment. And then the return on investment can't be picking people. They never picked the president, they never picked anyone in our power structure. And again, I'm not going to be mean the people that they pick, but they, they tend to use certain biological openings to do experiments and all these kinds of things. That, that's the return on investment. And you, you're flying through downtown New Jersey and getting stuck in a tree and this is, this is, this is what's going to stand. It doesn't lend to making sense.
[00:29:01] Speaker A: I mean, you can't, you can't mistake that for a USC port.
[00:29:06] Speaker B: No, no. Again, it goes to my point. These are the dumbest aliens in all of the universe. If this is what's going on, like.
[00:29:12] Speaker A: Cats get stuck in a tree, be Honest. But that's an excellent point. Like resources. We already said mass is a defined quantum.
[00:29:24] Speaker B: Right.
[00:29:25] Speaker A: I'm just going to use an entire find work resources to harness this. If I had the technology to do it, I'm coming here and you know, and really in kind of a comedy setting. But think about when you drive long distance with your kids. Are we there yet? Can you imagine that? Or I got to go the bathroom, you know, and. But yet you hover. You know, I heard somebody describing some of this in Folding Fire, which, hey man, the Bible talks about that in Ezekiel, in Folding Fire. I think when we see things, we need to take a rational approach to it. Things are governed by physical laws.
The things that are not governed by those laws or the things outside those laws. The things outside those laws is what the Bible describes. And it does describe again, beings from another dimension or area. And it's called heaven. Right. And those angels are not bound by anything other than what God said.
There was one guy and I was trying to search for his name, but I'll find it in a minute. But he talked about even people being abducted by him. He did all this research and he says in about 400 of those cases that when they, those people called upon the name of Christ, like it stopped. They were like, nope, we're done. I think there's some scripture that talks about some other worldly beings being a little concerned about the name of Jesus Christ.
[00:31:01] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, so where does that all lead us, Jason? You know, there's, there's four routes of conclusion as we've, we've talked about and articulated. You know quite well here that, you know, there is a uniqueness to Earth. There is a unique purpose and design that's outside of the physical realm that we can see. We understand that it would take a lot of resources. There's no evidence outside of atmospheric Earth for any type of alien activity. You can't find anything outside of Earth's atmosphere in recorded literature for humans. As far as discussing describing an alien zooming by doing anything. So there's four routes. There's natural phenomena. So some unknown Earth atmospheric event, lightning, gas, whatever the case might be. Yeah, that's possible. Human technology, American or foreign adversaries. Quite possible. Some advanced technology. Right. Bob laziers, the Aliens Area 51. Let's not forget that just to put a context for all the non military types or anyone out there listening skunk works who created the Stealth bomber. Right Back way back in the 80s, early late 70s, that technology was being tested out at Area 51. That's all unclassified obviously at this point. But so let's cut possibly, right. Could be something there. There's alien technology, right. Possible. Right. But we've kind of laid out the case that it would take extraordinary means to do that. And I don't see the return on investment as far as buzzing around again downtown Manhattan, just flashing some high beam lights. So where does that lead us? Let's go to the biblical point and one of the central things. Right. Of the Jonathan Project. We talked about the Lord and we orient our worldview and what we see around that point. The Prince of the Air problem, as I call it, and Jason referred to this, that Satan has the title D to Earth right now and it goes back to the endemic fall. He's not going to hold it forever. Jesus is going to come back and claim what is rightfully his in his own time, way and shape. And that's a whole nother episode. But right now, Satan has powers that are limited by scope by God. But it should be a clear warning here, or what I'm saying is for some of the things that we're seeing, when you understand the Bible, in the season that we were, that we're in, you know, those days of Noah, the final season, wherever you want to call the end times, right. The intensification of things that Jesus talked about. One of those things was delusion. And Jesus himself gives a pretty strong warning that's outlined in Second Thessalonians, is that you can be, and I'm paraphrasing here, that men can not want the truth, the truth being the gospel so far, that God, it says kind of what he did with Pharaoh sends a strong delusion and that they will follow after him, him being the man of paradition, also known as the spirit of the Antichrist, Satan's spiritual emissary to deceive the world.
[00:33:59] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:33:59] Speaker B: And so when you see things that are happening and as Jason said, that they fall outside of the physical, then the, the true world, which we understand, which is the spiritual, you have to ask and wonder, where is this coming from? And I want to leave a couple points before I turn it back over to Jason as far as the Satanic deception and really the coming to steal, kill and destroy. Axios released a survey of over 10,000 U.S. residents. 76 of those respondents under the age of 30 believe there's intelligent life on other planets. Now, those same folks by Pew Research Survey, being those Same folks under 30, only 43% of them believe the Christian Bible is true. So it's clear that if Satan wanted to, in the modern age where everyone has this platform, they can communicate with every other human being globally. He wanted to flash some lights. And again, it's just a cheap parlor trick. Again, it goes to myself. These are the dumbest aliens in the universe if this is how they chose to communicate. And it fits right up the alley of Satan, right? Like I'm going to use this cheapness to mimic God's creation and lead people away from the truth that you're created for a reason and a purpose and you're loved and everything around you was created to sustain you and point you back to him.
[00:35:13] Speaker A: That's an excellent point. You know, if you look at what Satan, how he described still kill and destroy and prince of Air, deceiver, masquerading as an angel light, you know that his, his minions, the, the demon, they're. They're highly intelligent deceivers as well. And there's more to this. The only other thing that Bible speaks about other than the physical realm we deal with is the spiritual, right? Just like when Isaiah said, hey, I pray that this, this man's eyes are open. When they were. Can't remember the exact story, Colby, you and I talked about it, but. And they were surrounded and all the angels were around, right? Yeah, but if he's doing that, what's it from? And humans are unique in this right here. If there were a thousand ways to get to heaven, we would want a thousand and one. And then if God said, okay, there's a thousand and one, we would go, ah, how about a thousand and two? And that's us. But Jesus says in John 14, 6, he goes, hey, I'm it. There is no, there is no other way to come. Come to the Father, but through me. Romans talks about it, acts, talks about it, said there's no other salvation except through Jesus Christ, right? And it's just a one way. Think of it like this.
You're. You're gonna put your key in your door lock, right? One opening, one key. Now all Satan have to do is just bump you a little bit, get you off, bumpy. Just a little bit, get you off. And that's what a lot of this is, right? Like I need to distract you. I need to distract you just a little bit. It's the, it is the. Like the Filipino martial arts. It's a death by a thousand cuts. I've got all this distraction out. Look at this, look at this shiny object. Well, I found this. And I've got this carbon dating thing. And if you ever look at the falseness inside of carbon dating, you can get a semi accurate rate rating and you can get something that is way off the scale. All right? Probably because matter has been consistent throughout all since it's been created. Right? Like rocks in my front yard have been here for a super long time. If know that Satan just looks to distract you again, still, still your way to kill you ultimately and to destroy your families at some point. It's like, stick to the meat potatoes. This is what the Bible says. Even if I don't understand it, I gotta stick to it. It's called faith. Right?
And no, I'm right there with, on, on this topic.
[00:37:58] Speaker B: No, so it, I mean, it's. We could go on and on a phenomenal topic and really what I would say is, you know, you know, kind of my closing thoughts is this, you know, second Timothy 2 and 15 says that we're to study the Scripture so that we might rightly divine the word of truth. And I think in this day and age, ultimately, what, however you land and believe on this whole alien phenomenon, this uptick in things, I would ask everyone, even a non believer maybe listening is go and seek the truth and start with a truth that's not defined by another person and the truth that the Bible offers, right? There's no variation, there's no contradiction. You can take that truth there and apply it to what you're seeing in space. You can. And we talked about some of just the practicalities of saying that we're being visited by some advanced civilization and all these kind of things. You can also see the pattern and the, of dividing and deceiving. Satan has done. He just has a new tool. It's just new sophistication. But it's the same old cheap parlor trick to get you away from understanding that God loves you. He sent his son to die on the cross and because of that, that you have been given the right to have eternal life and to live a life that is full of purpose here on earth in the span to have meaning in your life. He doesn't want you to understand that. He wants you to believe that, you know, there's something out there beyond all of this, that it carries all these hopes and dreams. And really there is. There's the third heaven. There's the, there's the spiritual world that Jason alluded to that when you believe in him, we're all one day going to have the ability to live in a way that's just the Bible, as the Bible describes it. You don't have the words. He's like, you know, eyes have not seen, the ears have not heard what God has planned for those who love him. So I will leave you with that encouragement that it's all about him, him being Jesus. And don't be deceived and miss the opportunity to realize how much the God of the universe loves you and cares for you.
[00:40:10] Speaker A: You know, I think when I see this phenomenon that people are craving, right? It blows my mind that people would readily jump to this and go, well, look at this. It says something about you, right? We all have these, these cravings would be an easy way to put it. You have them spiritually, mentally, physically, and that, that it describes an opening that's missing. And the Bible says eternity is written upon you. And when you go, man, there has to be something out there. You're. You're right, there is something out there, but that something is Jesus. Just like when I have a physical thirst, right? Not thirsty. My body, believe it or not, despite what everybody, what a lot of industries would like to tell you, I'm not craving high fructose corn syrup in any of its liquid forms. What I am craving is water. What my body is craving is water. But when you look up into there and you go, oh, I need to find little green men, I need to find a ufo, I'm going to jump on this spaceship and go somewhere else, man. The vehicle to go somewhere else is Jesus pride. Your soul and your spirit is craving for him.
And that's the truth. Don't be deceived by everything that's on the dinner table. You know, what you really need is the water, which is the work, which is, which leads you to Jesus Christ.
And that's. I'm right there with you as a, as a husband, as a parent, as a father, you have to be able to help your children discern the truth. And if you don't have a solid grounding in it, they won't have a solid grounding.
